Looking Ahead: Opportunities and Challenges for Women's Political Participation in 2014

Cathy Russell, U.S. ambassador-at-large for global women's issues, will discuss the future of women's political participation around the world. Russell has previously served as deputy assistant to the President, coordinating the development of the administration's strategy to prevent and respond to gender-based violence. She has also served as a senior advisor to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on international women's issues.
